"CASA LARGO" is a beautiful Waterfront Home, located within Rumbling Bald Resort. Expansive lake views from almost every room in the house. Located about 1 mile from the "Heart of the Rumbling Bald Resort Amenities".

MAIN LEVEL: Master Bedroom on-suite located with separate shower and tub and a private screened porch area. The Great Room, Kitchen and Dining are an open floor plan. Enjoy the gas fireplace on those chilly nights-(available Oct. 1-April 1.) There are flat screen TV is located in the Great Room and Master Bedroom. Enjoy the morning sun and relaxing afternoons on the open deck or screened enclosure. A half bath is located just off great room. The kitchen/pantry are well stocked and perfect for cooking and entertaining. There is a two car garage and laundry room on this level.

UPPER LEVEL: Open loft with trundle bed, Full Bath. Separate Guest bedroom-1- Queen.

LOWER LEVEL: Great room with billiards table, plenty of seating. Gas fireplace (available Oct. 1- April 1), flat screen TV, Large Bar with dishwasher and sink. This area opens up to deck space with walk down to boat house. Guest Bedroom- 2 twin beds, opens onto deck. Guest Bedroom-3- Bunk Room (lower bunk is a queen, upper- twin). Guest bedrooms 2 and 3 share a full hall Bath. Guest Bedroom-4- Queen, opens on to the deck with a full bathroom that opens onto the hall.

Boat House with upper deck kitchen area and seating. The side deck is perfect for relaxing on the lake. We have a ladder for ease in and out of the water.

"CASA LARGO" is great for vacations, small corporate outings, swimming, boating, fishing (you will need a license to fish LL), hiking, golf and so much more!! Located within an hour’s drive are Chimney Rock Park, Biltmore Estate, Hendersonville and Brevard.

  We found our stay entirely consistent with previous reviews. The location was great. The space of the house was good for a large group. The house was not clean when we arrived and the mattresses were uncomfortable. The house needs some upkeep. There are a lot of steps but the same steps take you right to the lake. The management team was excellent.

  It was overall fine, but things were not what you would expect for the kind of prices being charged. For example, there were no pillow cases on the master bedroom pillows, the mattresses are subpar, the fridge and freezer are tiny, the water doesn't work in the boathouse kitchen, the driveway is incredibly steep, and some of the steps between the house and boathouse are weak/loose and likely ready to break. Also, the property is for sale, so we had people coming through to look at it with about 5 minutes notice. Nevertheless, I wouldn't have written this review but for Steve Gage, the realtor, leaving an unfair and false review of the condition of the house when we left. Despite leaving the place very clean, we were "ranked" as bad guests, allegedly leaving the place unclean and not following house rules. It's unclear what rules or what mess was left. I thought this was especially tacky since we allowed them to show the house with essentially no notice during the middle of our family vacation. As a side note, Sue Gage was nice and helpful.

  We rented this house for a work "team building" weekend trip. The house was large enough for everyone to have their own personal space.   We had a wonderful stay at Casa Largo. Home was perfect size for 13 of us. Loved sitting on back screened in porch. It was everyone's favorite spot. House is layed out well. Needs some upkeep maintenance to various wear and tear items. Driveway is a nightmare if you don't have 4wd and it's wet. Stovetop was out but they gave us some items to cook with. Steps down to boathouse were roped off and need repair. Could use a couple more kayaks or a paddle boat. Two was nice but with the size and cost of home it would be nice to have a couple more for large group. Great amenities (pool, beach area, mini golf, golf course). Overall great stay just needs some minor maintenance and upkeep items.

I could live on that top screened porch. Overall the house was amazing. There were a few minor maintenance issues but they didn't damper our fun and I feel certain that they will be remedied ASAP now that the management company is aware.   Lovely home, very spacious, beautiful view of lake. More than enough room for 6 adults, toddler and infant. The towels were thick and fluffy, the sheets and bedding nice. The boat house was fun. We had hoped to use the it more but difficult to maneuver the 90 stairs to reach it with infant and toddler. The only negative about the week was the crazy steep driveway. The rental staff was awesome. They were there when we arrived to orient us to the home and resort. They responded immediately when we called with a problem with the air conditioning and had a repair man there within and hour on a Saturday evening in the pouring rain. Very impressive.

  Great fun place with plenty of room for our 12 family members. Especially enjoyed the boat house with swimming and kayaks. The lake is very safe for family fun. Also close to many other activities in the area: zip lining, horseback riding, tubing.
  Lots of amenities at the club with good restaurants. I'd stay again. The house was big, very clean and had lots of room for all to enjoy.

  Let me first state that the property manager, Tracy, is super & very responsive. The house is beautiful inside. However, the main floor screened porch, outside kitchen, & decking could use some TLC. While I admire the builders vision to build this home on a cliff, potential renters should note the extremely steep driveway & the 89 stairs from the house to the boat house. Helpful Hint - if you plan on bringing a boat or kayak look up the Lake Lure boating restrictions. Again, this is a beautiful home & we enjoyed our stay.

  Great house with the best view of Lake Lure! We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Largo. Buffalo Junction Properties was very easy to deal with and quick to respond to any of our concerns. The porch off the great room was the perfect spot to enjoy the morning. We used the kayaks every day and loved the lake access. Definitely bring bug spray though. The house itself is well appointed and spacious. Lots of stairs so be prepared.

  Absolutely a stunning home. We where WOW'd at every turn, inside and out! Spacious and white glove clean. The views make your jaw drop! As a Designer I loved the attention to detail. Literally, the home invites you to sit, relax, enjoy and take it all in. Nearby Chimney Rock was a great way to take in the views of those beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. Specialty Shops on the way back to house,just spoiled us even more! Loved our stay!
