MAIN LEVEL: Enjoy an open floor- stocked kitchen, large great room with stone wood burning fireplace (wood can be purchased locally and is available Oct. 1- April 1) and large screen TV/Cable. This area opens onto a large open and covered deck w/additional outdoor seating. Master Bedroom-King- with private bath including a shower and tub, walk in closet and TV. There is a half bath just off living room area.

UPPER LEVEL: Guest Bedroom-1-Queen, TV and is loft that has sliding wooden partition that can be open or closed for complete privacy. (NO BATH THIS LEVEL)

LOWER LEVEL: Great Room with Foosball, gaming table, TV for gaming and seating. Guest Bedroom-2-Queen with private bath. Guest Bedroom-3- two twin beds. Guest Bedroom-4- 3-Bunks (sleeps 6) both guest bedrooms 3 and 4 share a full hall bath. The laundry room is located in unfinished space.

  Stayed with family at Lured Inn for Thanksgiving 2020. The home was very well-maintained and very clean. Fantastic view of Lake Lure with access to all the amenities of the Rumbling Bald Resort.

  The nearest grocery store, Ingles, is a short drive and the property is 30-45 minutes from Chimney Rock State Park. We really enjoyed visiting (twice!) nearby Black Mountain. Great restaurants and shopping.

  We loved returning home to this spacious, serene, amenity-filled house after days of zip lining, white water rafting, and water skiing. Without leaving the resort, we enjoyed kayaking, tennis, swimming, putt-putt, hiking, golf, and basketball. The kids made the basement "theirs" and loved the fooz ball table, board games, and bunk room. The well-stocked kitchen and new grill made cooking easy. My only complaint--we couldn't find salt in the house. Great choice of vacation destinations!

  It was a good couple of days. The home was very nice, well stocked and clean, it rained every day so our activity was limited. The children did swim in the indoor pool and played putt putt. The roads to the home are very curvy. I am not a fan of heights, so my courage was tested. I wished we could have walked to the rec center versus having to drive. Overall, a good trip.

  We had such a wonderful experience with this property for a few days over New Year's with old friends. Tracy and the rental company, Buffalo Junction Properties, are very communicative, open, available and professional. We appreciated their flexibility with check-in and check-out times and meeting us at the house for a walk-through after our friends were a little delayed getting there. The house is on a nice, quiet street just up the road from the Wellness Center. Plenty of privacy, and a great view of the lake above the trees from the back porch. The cabin feel is so cozy - we loved having a fire in the fireplace each day/night. The bedrooms are all comfortable, plenty of rooms for family or multiple couples to have their own space. We had a great time catching up in the living room area, watching football. It's nice that you can be in the kitchen cooking and see/talk to people hanging out by the fire. The kitchen is well stocked - we loved that you could access the stovetop from both sides of the island - we could all cook together and never felt cramped. The table is big enough to sit a group together, we loved eating together and playing games afterward. The guys in our group could not get enough of the foosball table - they must have played fifty games. We didn't have children in our group, but the bunk room would be perfect for them - it's fun and tucked right off of the game room downstairs. I would have loved it as a kid. The bathrooms were all clean, the showers had great water pressure & there were plenty of clean, comfortable towels. We loved everything about our time at the house! It really felt like such a steal - it's a great, great value for your money. Lake Lure is such a wonderful area - you're not far from great hikes, cool towns (Asheville) and things to do. Rumbling Bald is an easy resort to rent in - very simple, streamlined process. If you're thinking about booking this place, do yourself a favor and don't hesitate. You won't regret it! Thanks

  We rented Lured Inn for my family reunion. It is a 5 star rental except that you must drive to the resort amenities. For that reason I rated the location a 3 star. If you rent this home be aware the upstairs bedroom does NOT have a bathroom. You will be making a trip downstairs in the middle of the night if you need to pee.
