MOUNTAIN SUN GODDESS is a 3000 Square Foot mountain home in Rumbling Bald, located on the 15th Fairway of Bald Mountain Golf Course. Professionally managed, cleaned, and professional linen service. Enhanced cleaning protocols used. An Upper Level Great Room and Lower Level Family Room/Game Room make this home perfect for large families and groups.

MAIN LEVEL- Great Room offers outstanding views of Rumbling Bald Mountain. Great Room opens onto wrap-around Deck with covered sitting area, gas grill and fire pit, outdoor table. Great Room has Smart TV and gas fireplace (seasonal). Guest Bedroom 1: King bed, Guest Bedroom 2: Queen bed, shared full Bathroom with 2 sinks, combination Tub/Shower. Fully stocked Kitchen, Dining area seats 8 comfortably (10 is doable, but a cozier fit).

LOWER LEVEL: Wood floors throughout. Large Family/Game Room with Gas Fireplace, Smart TV/streaming services, DVD, Foosball and convertible Pool/Ping Pong game table, Corn Bag toss set. Guest Bedroom 3: Bunk Bed with Queen lower and Twin upper, shared full Bathroom has 2 sinks and step-in Shower. Laundry Room with washer, dryer and iron/ironing board.

UPPER LEVEL-Wood floors throughout. Master Suite: King Bed, Smart TV-streaming services. Master Bath has 2 Sinks and combination Tub/Shower. Separate Office/sleeping room with a desk and Queen Sleeper Sofa, Smart TV. Loft Sitting Area with chess board, overlooks the Great Room.

  Mountain Sun Goddess was the perfect place for our extended family (the 3 separate living areas provided privacy and full baths) and the living room and covered deck were a great place to gather. The kitchen was a little tight and the tree tops blocked some of the view, but those are very minor "issues". Overall...house was wonderful (quiet area, well stocked and comfortable, very clean, a/c and internet worked great, comfy beds, etc.). Would 100% stay here again and highly recommend the property. Property management was top notch.

  We had a wonderful family getaway at Mountain Sun Goddess. It is in a very nice resort community which still offered indoor pool and wellness center amenities and excellent restaurants even in the winter. We all enjoyed our meals at Legends On the Lake Restaurant. Their fries were the best I’ve even had! Our property managers, Steve and Sue Gage, gave excellent service and were very responsive to every question. The home was ready early and exceeded our expectations! The mountain view is spectacular! I would love to see it in Fall! Our family really enjoyed playing pool & ping pong in the game room and sitting around the fire in the great room. Lots of comfy seating for our group of 10. The kitchen and bathrooms were even better appointed than described and the beds very comfortable. We enjoyed the town of Chimney Rock and Chimney Rock State Park. We are repeat customers at Riverwatch Bar & Grill. Love their huge burger menu! We love the Lake Lure area and would definitely return to Rumbling Bald and Mountain Sun Goddess. We would love to try one of the houses on the lake in summer season. If you are looking for a home or vacation here, I would highly recommend the Gages at Buffalo Junction Properties!

  We had a wonderful time. The house was beautiful and extremely clean. The area is gorgeous. We had plenty of room for all our family and the little ones specially enjoyed the downstairs play room. One of the highlights of our trip was coming home from the pool to find a mother bear and two cubs in the driveway. They walked to the back of the house and stayed just under the decks for almost an hour. I would recommend property to anyone who wants to enjoy the mountains, pool, golf course and lake.

  Our group of four had a wonderful week staying at this beautiful home! The bedrooms are all generously sized (the Master BR is amazing!) and the house has plenty of living space both inside and on the upstairs and downstairs decks. The house is located just above the golf course and about a 5-minute drive to the private beach. The on-premises restaurant (The Legends) has great food and you can carry out to eat on the beach or in the house. Paddleboards and kayaks can be rented by the hour at a reasonable price. I can't say enough about this house and the Rumbling Bald property. And Sue Gage was great to work with. We would most definitely stay here again!

  We stayed mid July and had a great time. The home is huge. 3k sf, 4 beds, 3 baths, two huge balconies and great views of Rumbling Bald. It's a bit of a hike to the main activity and hotel area so we rented a golf cart. Was expensive but we had a blast flying all over the resort all week. The resort is very nice. Nice beach (a bit small), nice outdoor pool, and indoor as well - but didn't see much in there. Resort is doing a good job of masking and social distancing and taking Covid seriously. Hand sanitizer is everywhere. Masks required inside. It really is a beautiful mountain/lake resort and house. I thought we would have to enter resort each time, but these cabins are already in the resort behind security and have private roads. Lots of golf carts going around. Nice courses too, but didn't play this time. Sue was also fantastic to work with. Usually responded within a few hours to any questions. Highly recommend!

  We loved this property. The house was very clean and was right next to a resort that we had full access to. The closest grocery store was about 13 miles from the resort and there was also a few small restaurants within that proximity as well. Chimney Rock was about 40 mins from the property. We had plenty to do with the kids. A great tucked away vacation spot. The staff and residents were all bery friendly.
  The only con was the kichen table only sats 6 people, so if you have more than that, guest will have to eat in different places.

  We made it to this house just before a big snow. The enormous window in the den of the main level made for a beautiful display of nature. The house is immaculate and looks exactly like the pictures. This place has multiple places to relax and we used both fireplaces. Well stocked kitchen and gorgeous view! The house seems brand new.   Definitely one of our family's top three vacations! Rumbling Bald is a beautiful secret hidden around Lake Lure - tons of activities (putt-putt, beach, kayak/pedal boat/SUPboard rentals, etc. - you name it, they have it). The 'Mountain Sun Goddess' is the perfect home for large groups - plenty of space to spread out. The kids in our group (ages 5-11) became fixtures in the finished basement area, where they played Wii, the awesome basketball game, etc. and the adults in our group became fixtures in the spacious den that looks out over Bald Mountain. The home is extremely clean (and has lighter colored carpet that appears to be practically brand new). It is well equipped with bedding and linens and offers plenty of rooms for everyone to have their own space. The kitchen is not the largest, but is perfectly adequate. The furniture all appears to be very new and has been well taken care of. You won't want to bring more than 3 cars, as the steep driveway/parking area can get a little crowded and difficult to maneuver, but that is very minor. This is a home we will certainly return to in years to come! Tracy and her staff are fantastic to work with

  Mountain Sun Goddess' pictures and description were 100% accurate, but the house was even better in person! It is located a short drive from the resort amenities. The road is a little curvy, but is not steep or scary at all. The house is beautiful and well-kept on the inside and outside. The view is incredible, especially on the porch where we ate breakfast. The layout of the house was perfect for one or more families. Our favorite was the bottom floor which has a sitting area, Wii, basketball game, board games, bedroom, bathroom, and laundry room. This gave us our own space to hang out. The house was extremely clean and included plenty of towels, wash clothes, and toilet paper. You could tell this is someone's personal vacation home that has been well taken care of. There are extra batteries, a flash light, and a lot of pots/pans, silverware, glasses, and dishes. We loved this home and hopefully will rent it again next summer. Also, Tracey was a pleasure to work with and responded very quickly to any questions. I also liked that an agent met me at the home instead of having to check in at an office first. We were visiting for a family reunion so were able to spend time in four other homes in the area. This was by far the nicest!!

  The only drawback we faced was a poorly stocked kitchen. It appeared that the owners didn't expect renters to prepare meals. We were a three generation family and wanted to eat at home a lot. We had to go to a big box store to find things we needed.

  Great location, great property, extremely well equipped, value for the money, great for groups or family(ies). Group of guys away for a golf outing. No problem with requirement to have all dishes washed before departure. However, there is a requirement to have the towels washed and dried. Our guys came to play golf, not do laundry, especially with early tee times. Additionally, it is desirable to know that the twoels and wash cloths are cleaned to professional standards, more than just running through a residential washer/dryer. Management group was willing to work with us to provide extra time to accommodate the cleaning requirements. The group will definitely rent this facility again, hopefully with some revised check out requirements. Decks scream to be used for social time, or just relaxation. Located in great resort with great golf courses and other facilities.
