Welcome to SERENITY COVE, a peaceful lakefront vacation rental home on Shumont Lake in beautiful Lake Lure, NC. Professionally managed, cleaned, and professional linen service. Enhanced cleaning protocols in use. 4 Bedrooms, 4-1/2 baths. Sleeps 10.

Leave your worries behind and start enjoying great outdoor spaces and activities including wrap-around screen porch, outdoor seating area, private dock to fish or swim from, firepit, bocce ball court, and use of paddle board, kayak, canoe, non-motorized pontoon. Shumont Lake is a private, non-motorized lake, so a fishing license is not required.

As guests of Serenity Cove you’ll have access to Rumbling Bald amenities (10 Guest Passes are provided. Children under 12 don't need a pass). Enjoy the Rumbling Bald private beach, lakefront swimming, two championship 18-hole golf courses, driving ranges, restaurants/lounges, outdoor pool with lazy river, indoor pool, whirlpool, steam and dry saunas, fitness center, spa with massage therapist, hair and manicure salon, 18-hole miniature golf course, lighted tennis courts, pickle-ball, basketball court, scenic boat cruises pontoon boat, kayak and SUP rentals, and more! SERENITY COVE Layout:

MAIN LEVEL: Serenity Cove features an easy access Front Entry; large, level Parking Area for 3+ vehicles; Great Room; fully equipped, updated Kitchen; Dining Area plus Breakfast Bar with additional seating; Master Bedroom with private Bath. Great Room has a gas fireplace (Oct 1-May 1), flat screen Smart TV and plenty of seating. Great Room, Dining Area, Screen Porch overlook Shumont Lake. Large wrap-around Screen Porch with tables for outdoor dining, and relaxing seating. Master Bedroom has King bed and Private Bath with walk-in shower and separate tub. Sitting/TV room adjacent to the Dining Area has a Twin sleeper-sofa. Powder Room just off the Entry Foyer serves the Main Level.

UPPER LEVEL: Loft Area overlooking the Great Room; 2 Bedrooms, each with a King Bed, Smart TV, and Private Bath with walk-in shower. The Loft has Twin sleeper sofa, comfy seating, and is perfect for relaxing and reading. One of the King Bedroom Baths is also accessed from the Loft.

LOWER LEVEL: Large TV/Game Room with Foosball game, Smart TV, access to the Patio and Back Yard. The level Back Yard has Bocce Ball court, Fire Pit area with seating, Private Dock. There’s also comfortable patio seating, gas grill (we provide the propane) and a Basket Ball hoop.

It is our policy to require Damage Protection. Your stay at Serenity Cove includes Damage Protection that covers up to $3,000 in damage. See complete terms and conditions in our rental agreement. YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO PURCHASE DAMAGE PROTECTION INSURANCE AT CHECK OUT THROUGH VRBO OR OTHER PROVIDER.
All reservations, including VRBO/Airbnb are REQUIRED to sign a RENTAL AGREEMENT. The Rental Agreement is sent in a separate email for electronic signature. For VRBO guests, we will not process your credit card for the deposit until after you sign the rental agreement.
