With all that "Bedford Falls" has to offer, this million dollar plus vacation home has recently added a breathtaking tree house porch with outdoor gas fireplace (FP in Tree House available Oct.1-April 1), an interactive outside kids play area, new landscaping with lighting, decking and a new hot tub.

The heart of the home is an open concept, state of the art kitchen, dining area & great room with wide open views of the lake and surrounding mountains. The kitchen is a work of art designed with the true gourmet chef in mind including a duel fuel gas range centerpiece. The locally handcrafted dining table is made of very rare maple.

Bedford Falls has four very spacious bedrooms each with their own private hotel elegant bathroom. Three master suites and a bunk room with 4 beds. The lower level King Bedroom has a pull out love seat that is a twin. The bathrooms each have a spacious spa quality with luxury finishings throughout. The upstairs master bathroom has an indoor shower with an attached outdoor shower. Just imagine bathing in the Carolina moon light beneath a sea of stars.

Indoor entertaining opportunities abound at Bedford Falls with two independent family rooms w/gas fire places (available Oct 1-April 1), a full size pool table & complete entertainment library of games, books and movies. Wi-Fi & Direct TV. Outdoor living includes: Upstairs screened porch, Tree House porch which includes space for eating & lounging, a gas fireplace (FP available October 1- April 1) This is the BEST area for enjoying the views of the lake. A kids play area is on the lower deck . The newly updated landscaping & lighting will lead the way to our new hot tub. Enjoy the gas fire pit, while relaxing in the hot tub. At the boathouse includes two water’s edge docks, a floating dock, covered observation deck & the covered pontoon boat. The boat is included with all rentals between March 15-November 1st, we also have a kayak and paddle boat.

Bedford Falls is conveniently located just 5 minutes from our full service Ingles Supermarket. Also located 15 minutes from downtown Lake Lure & Chimney Rock (hiking, shopping, restaurants, coffee shops and marina/visitor center), 20 minutes from two 18 hole golf courses at Rumbling Bald Resort, and 30-45 minutes from Hendersonville, Asheville, Black Mountain.

  Dear friends of ours joined us in staying at this magnificent home for the days leading up to our daughter's wedding. We couldn't have been more impressed, surprised and pleased by all the amenities this house has to offer. The decor, the comfort, the space, the everything was perfect in every way. The property was extremely clean and well equipped. The landscape was lush and lovely. The view of the lake was so inviting. We loved working with Sue from Buffalo Junction Properties as she met with us and showed us all the parts of this unbelievable house. We loved the well appointed kitchen, the brand new hot tub, the porches, and the roomy pontoon boat. We did not want our time at this house to end!! We recommend the restaurants: Medina's, Esmeralda Inn, Hickory Nut Gorge Brewery, La Strada and Larkins. The Secret Garden was a lovely surprise as well. We all fell in love with this house and our memorable time here.

  We love this property and have always enjoyed all the amenities of this home they are super nice. This year because of the terrible storm coming north they had to drop the lake so we were not able to us the pontoon boat, but were still able to enjoy a tour on the lake. It's charming in every way. A little fluke with the hot tub as it didn't work either but didn't dampen our wonderful time with friends.

  Bedford Falls offers everything you need to enjoy a truly memorable vacation. It is our family's "home away from home" at Lake Lure and we all look forward to getting back together each summer. This warm and inviting home offers a fabulous kitchen that has everything necessary to prepare some wonderful meals along with a large grill on the deck. Ingles is so convenient which is a definite plus when feeding a large group. The home is very tastefully decorated . We especially enjoy the large screened porch with its comfortable furniture. It is our morning and evening gathering spot. The lower level family room with pool table is another favorite. Of course, the main draw for us is the lake and the large pontoon boat. Such fun to hop in the boat and head to Logan's for lunch or to La Strada for take-out pizza! Sierra Brewery has also become a yearly favorite with our group, as well as the yearly Chimney Rock challenge and mini golf competition. Hendersonville, Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway are wonderful ways to enjoy a day. There are many other exciting ways to spend your time in this beautiful area and then return home to the charm and comfort of this lovely home.

  We booked rather late considering it was the week after Memorial Day, but I don't think we could've been much happier on this quiet little cove. The home is decorated beautifully. The beds were comfortable, towels and linens were nicer than most rentals, the kitchen was thoughtfully laid out, with almost everything you could possibly need. The pictures definitely don't do the property justice. The floor plan is very open on the first level and the bedrooms on both levels are separated enough to afford privacy, even with a full house of 10 people. A pool table and two living rooms with TVs, that we never turned on once. The grocery store is very close, 3 minutes at most and you can boat up to the ABC Store and get a lovely view of Chimney Rock on the way. We really enjoyed having the boat at our disposal, using it multiple times per day to cruise around and enjoy the scenery or grab lunch at Larkin's. It was a major benefit to this home. I'd recommend sandals on the dock, as I got some pretty brutal splinters, the wi-fi is excruciatingly slow if/when you can even connect, you may bang your head on the light fixture every time you stand up from the table and there are certainly homes with better views, but we'd consider these things quirks rather than deficiencies. We had a wonderfully relaxing and enjoyable weekend and would return without hesitation. In fact, we've already discussed it.

  Stayed Monday through Friday over Fall break. We stayed in the same property last year at this time. The house was unchanged, in immaculate condition and very well stocked with whatever items you may need. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub, outdoor fire pit, and of course the pontoon boat. Although the lake temp was a bit chilly for swimming, boating and fishing were still very fun. Also had a great time in Chimney Rock and zip lining. We love coming to Bedford Falls and look forward to more trips here in the future.

  This was our second trip to the same house so yes we liked it a lot. The renovations were wonderful, the water toys great. Everyone enjoyed all the amenities. our one suggestion is new linens in some of the bed rooms, especially the bunk room. Also serious bug treatment would be good, it is a lake house in the woods after all. The only extra anyone recommended was a slide from the porch to the water, but that was almost in just, we saw one at a house.

  Our family of five adults and two children stayed at Bedford Falls in July 2015 and had a wonderful time. The photos do not do the home justice - it is even more spacious and beautiful than it appears in the pictures. We found it to be very clean and the most well-stocked kitchen of any vacation home we have ever rented (and there have been quite a few). The location is excellent - close to the grocery store, Lake Lure Beach, and Rumbling Bald Resort. Tracy with Buffalo Junction Properties was very quick to respond to any question we had and came by one afternoon to pick up any additional trash we had accumulated. While she was there she spent some time telling us about some of the renovations that had been completed on the house and giving us information about the area in general. We thought that was so nice and enjoyed our chat with her. It was wonderful to have the pontoon boat, paddle boat, kayak, and canoe there and our group took advantage of them daily. We also spent a good amount of time just floating around the cove on rafts, enjoying the beautiful scenery, and relaxing on the screened porch and sundeck. The hot tub fit five adults comfortably and the gas fire pit was easy to use and great for s'mores at night. It was definitely one of the most enjoyable family vacations we have ever had, in large part because the home and amenities fit our needs perfectly. In fact, we loved it so much we've already booked for a week next year!

  We had seven people stay at the house and it was incredibly spacious with the downstairs and outside area. The house was clean, kitchen had all of the elements necessary to cook great meals and the view was outstanding. We used the hot tub, fire pit, boat, kayak and relaxed on the wonderful screen porch. I would say the only downside for my kids was that the fishing was slow - only two fish caught off the dock. Plenty to do in the area and a highlight to the trip was climbing Exclamation Point at Chimney Rock. Joann and Tracy were great property managers and ensured our stay outstanding. Would definately come back!
